enables a high level of administrative and centralized
control over the desktop environments, security access
to applications and data, and even content filtering for
browser access to the internet from the Remote Desktop
Environment. |
We have multiple locations that we need to "get on the
same page" without it costing us either a fortune or a whole
year.
We have six locations and plan to add more. Our
productivity software is not uniform across them all.
Files and documents cannot be easily shared between office,
except via email, and key business applications reside at
specific sites and we need to make these available to everyone.
We have to get a new application out to all of our staff.
They are spread around and up to one thousand miles apart.
Terminal Services Hosting can install the application on the
servers at the datacenter and then determine exactly which
employees need to have access to it (via role based central
security) and then "push" it our to their desktop for the next
time that they log in.
Our people need to be able to collaborate. Anytime.
Anywhere. Any device. Sometimes they need to be able
to edit a document when they are offline, but make sure that
no-one else can change it meanwhile.
This can be done using a web portal and offline file
synchronization capabilities on a laptop that empowers your
people to be able to "check out" a file before they go offline.
This then locks the file until they check it back in to the web
portal.
Half of our people need to be able to get their email and
calendar via their phones whilst on the move.
But no matter what they send in reply it all needs to be
recorded in their email file when they log back into their
Remote Desktop environment.
All of this can be done in the Remote Desktop Environment of
Terminal Services Hosting.
