| Use email and shared calendars
between family members. Parents can monitor what
their kids are up to and who has to take them where and
when. You also get email accounts for each family
member - parents can make sure that inappropriate spam
is reduced as much as possible for their children's
email accounts. |
I want to be able to share calendars with my co-workers
I need to be able to let my co-workers see the specifics of
my schedule, whilst still being able to keep some appointments
private. I do not want to maintain a second calendar for
my personal life.
Our team's schedules are constantly changing during the day.
We have no way to currently keep up with all of these changes so
that we can accurately schedule Client and Vendor meetings.
This is costing us a lot of time. We spend a lot of time
calling people back to reschedule. I want to be able to
schedule a meeting right away, not get back to people and spend
all of my time playing phone tag.
I want to reduce the number of double bookings that I get in
my schedule - where a co-worker books me in a meeting at the
same time as I schedule a different meeting for myself.
I need to not only see that my co-workers are busy, I need to
see where they are and who they are with.
I need to be able to manage my calendar and also see those of
my spouse and kids. Our family is going crazy trying to
keep life together. Our schedules are always changing and
we do not have the time to update each other by phone all the
time.
All of these needs are critical in today's busy world.
Microsoft's Exchange Server provides the solution to these needs
in a hosted environment. You just get to use it to meet
your needs. Secure and usable, online and offline, from
anywhere with a high speed internet connection. Nothing
complicated. Highly productive.

I want to be able to share contacts with my co-workers
I need to be able to let my co-workers access my list of
contacts, and I need to be able to access theirs - especially
when we are covering for each other because someone is on
vacation or abroad on a business trip.
I don't want a full Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
system. We just need to be able see and share each others
contacts when we need to.
Who has time to chase down team members and wait for a
response when there is an urgent need to communicate with an
important Client or prospect? Microsoft's Exchange Server
empowers organizations to share these easily and securely,
online and offline, with nothing complex for the people using
it.

I want to be able to share standard documents with my co-workers
I need to be able to make standard templates and marketing
materials available for our sales people. These people are
always on the move and will not take the time to log into a
specific portal ...but they live and breathe through their
email.
Microsoft's Exchange Server's public folders allows
documents to be stored in a common location accessible to all
relevant users in your organization. This allows you to
keep them up to date with just the latest version available and
where it is simple for people to get to them both online and
when they are offline. No more trying to email large
documents out to everyone, just put it in one place for them to
use it when they need it.

I want to be able to get my email, schedule and contacts
on my cell phone
I need to be able to receive, read and respond to my email
whilst I am on the move. I do not have time to start up a
laptop and find a place to connect from. I have to be
responsive to my team and my customers. I need to be able
to see my existing appointments and meetings, and be able to
commit to new ones, without hauling along a laptop. I need
to be able to look up a contact and place a call directly to
them, no matter where I am.
This is one of our fastest growing customer requests - to
provide these significant productivity benefits to highly mobile
people. Microsoft's Exchange Server provides this,
especially in a hosted environment, and the service can be
provided to a Windows PocketPC phone, Windows Smartphone, Palm
phone, or BlackBerry phone (you will need an appropriate data
plan from your cellular service provider, and BlackBerry devices
need an additional BlackBerry Enterprise Server subscription for
"push" capability).
